Mel Gibson Set For Expendables 3?

I watched half an hour of The Expendables when it was first released on DVD and I’ve never returned to watch the rest. That whole Sly Stallone driven action movie franchise just seems like bored, older actors playing a very expensive game of soldiers.

That being said the movies must be doing something right, as a third film has been given the green light and casting details have already been leaked with a teasing tweet from Stallone himself.

Many believe this nugget of encrypted information means that Mel Gibson will be cast as the villain for Expendables 3, but there is another possibility that Stallone was referring to the new Mad Max which would mean the casting of Tom Hardy.
