ALF & He-Man Set For Big Screen Reboots.
It seems that Hollywood isn’t finished scraping the 80’s barrel just quite yet. News is spreading throughout the Internet that a reboot of ALF, that crazy furry alien who crash landed in the Tanner’s garage back in 86’, is to be rebooted for the big screen.
Smurf’s producer Jordan Kerner is steering the project which as yet has no director or writer attached but it’s understood that ALF will be a CGI creation in a live-action movie, once again voiced by the original Paul Fusco.
The ALF announcement seems to be just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to reboots and remakes from the 80s for the big screen, as He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe is slated for a reboot by the director of the up and coming G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Jon M. Chu, no confirmation if Dolph Lundgren will make a cameo appearance in the remake, although the actor has expressed interest in playing the role of He-Man’s father King Randor.
