No Hulk Sequel…For Now.

When will the Hulk get his own movie…again? That’s been the vital fanboy question ever since Avengers Assemble was released earlier this year, signifying Marvel’s all important ‘Phase Two’ era with Ironman 3, Thor: The Dark World and Captain America: Winter Soldier all scheduled for 2013.

The answer is apparently: ‘Not right now.’ As the Hulk is temporarily caged along with a disgruntled Hawkeye and Black Widow until the Avengers sequel, which means neither of these beloved characters will get their own movies until Marvel enters it’s ‘Phase Three’. Realistically speaking you might not get to see another Hulk movie until 2016 unless of course Whedon adapts the Planet Hulk or World War Hulk storylines for the Avengers sequel.
