Hayley Atwell Expresses Interest In Tomb Raider Reboot.

Grasping the piss soaked nettle of opportunity actress Hayley Atwell, who we last saw in Captain America and Charlie Brooker’s excellent Black Mirror mini-series, has let it be known through the power of the Internet that she fancies strapping on the thigh holsters and squeezing into those infamous short-shorts.

Speaking to website The Age she explained that while there’s currently chatter about giving her Captain America character Peggy Carter her own spin-off movie or possible TV series, there’s a growing movement of fans who want Atwell to play Lara Croft:

“There’s also some kind of online campaign for me to do Tomb Raider Reborn, which I know has just come out as a computer game. MGM have the rights to make it into a film, which would be fantastic to do because I’d get to spend a year of my life training hard and pick up all sorts of fantastic fun skills.”
