Here it is. Your first proper look at the new Mad Max as portrayed by actor Tom Hardy. This still, currently doing the internet rounds is from George Miller’s latest installment of the Road Warrior franchise, entitled Mad Max: Fury Road. The plot of which rattles along like so, as described by Miller himself:

“Mad Max is caught up with a group of people fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by the Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron). This movie is an account of the Road War which follows. It is based on the Word Burgers of the History Men and eyewitness accounts of those who survived.”
