Tony Kebbell Will Be Doctor Doom

British actor Tony Kebbell, (Dead Man’s Shoes, RocknRolla), will be donning the iron mask and green hooded cape of Victor Von Doom, aka Doctor Doom ,in the reboot of Marvel’s Fantastic Four.

Kebbell looks like the main contender to take the role beating out other actors including Jack Huston and Domhnall Gleeson, if talks are successful and contracts are drawn up Kebbell will then join the rest of the cast consisting so far of Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell.

The reboot, which is scheduled to go before cameras this spring, revolves around the plot of the Marvel comic The Ultimate Fantastic Four which deals with the superhero group when they were much younger men and women fighting the forces of evil.

A release date for the reboot has been pencilled in for June 19, 2015 and a sequel has already been planned for the summer of 2017.
