Official Trailer For The Equalizer Remake.

Here’s the first official trailer for The Equalizer remake starring Denzel Washington and Chloe Grace Moretz, directed by Antoine Fuqua, (Training Day, Olympus Has Fallen).

In the original TV series starring Edward Woodward as a middle aged retired intelligence officer, (styled on the CIA), with a mysterious past who helps people in trouble. Whereas this current movie remake has Denzel as a former black ops commando who is forced to come out of his retirement to rescue a young girl and finds himself face to face with Russian gangsters.

The TV series had a definite them of private investigator for hire whereas this seems to borrow the plot from most Steven Segal movies.
