Alec Baldwin In Talks For Mission Impossible 5.

Website Deadline are reporting that Alec Baldwin is in consideration for a role in the forthcoming Mission Impossible 5 movie.

It’s unclear yet what kind of role Baldwin will flesh out, but apparently the rumour is he may play the head of the CIA. Which is disappointing as I think he’d make a powerhouse villain.

Although Tom Cruise is a lock to reprise his lead role of Ethan Hunt there’s been some recent juggling over the female lead with Jessica Chastain, (Zero Dark Thirty), passing on the role. It’s understood that Paramount will now turn their attentions to Rebecca Ferguson, (no, not the British X Factor contestant), who was recently nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in the TV series The White Queen.

Mission: Impossible 5 is set to open in the UK on December 26.
