Kate Beckinsale Returns For A Fifth Underworld Movie

Great news if you’re one of the three remaining Underworld fans left to actually care, as a fifth instalment of the franchise is filming right now. I jest of course as the series of films has been a massive money maker taking in a collective earning of £458m against a joint $177m budget.

Screen Gems and Lakeshore Entertainment have confirmed both Kate Beckinsale and Theo James will return for Underworld 5 which is being filmed in Prague at present, with production slated to stay there for the next 10 weeks.

Not much is known about the plot for the new Underworld movie although many have predicted it may involve vampires and werewolves. What is known is the film will feature a younger generation of characters who will continue the supernatural war between lycans and bloodsuckers, whilst conveniently looking like Abercrombie & Fitch models.

A release date for Underworld 5 is yet to be announced.
