Nickelodean Announces Cast For Hey Arnold Movie.

I never watched Hey Arnold when I was growing up but a lot of people did. The TV animated series was a massive hit for Nickelodeon and when you have a best- selling product sitting dormant on your shelf, best not let it go to waste.

The television network announced last week that a cast has been confirmed for a Hey Arnold movie adaptation with 19 voice actors returning from the TV series to reprise their roles. They also established that Alfred Molina, (Boogie Nights, Spider-Man 2), will voice a character called Lasombra, who will be the movie’s main villain.

The film will be called Hey Arnold!; The Jungle Movie and will ostensibly serve as a sequel to the TV series picking up directly where it left off in 2004. Producers also hinted that the movie will focus on tying up loose ends, such as the story behind Arnold’s missing parents.

The Hey Arnold movie has been scheduled for a 2017 release.
