Fans of the Lethal Weapon franchise will be delighted to know that a fifth installment is currently being ‘worked on’ by director Richard Donner. At least that’s what Hollywood’s most famous anti-semite Mel Gibson eluded to during a recent interview on American TV.

Quizzed over the possibility of Lethal Weapon 5 Gibson confirmed that Donner, who directed all previous four movies, dating back to 1987, is currently in the process of working it out, suggesting that Danny Glover will be re-teaming with him one more time.

This is exciting news for those of us who love watching a sexagenarian and a septuagenarian pretend to jump off buildings and drive fast cars.
