In 2016 a movie entitled The Woods was marketed as a forthcoming horror film, only to be revealed at that year’s San Diego Comic-Con as a secret sequel to The Blair Witch Project, (an infamous low budget cult horror flick made in 1999)…which unfortunately turned out to be shit!
Fast forward to the present and a similar stunt intended for a brand new Predator film as been foiled after a leak identified the project, which had been progressing in secret for four years.
Apparently director Dan Trachtenberg, (10 Cloverfield Lane), is in charge of the film and was none too pleased over the movie’s unexpected reveal, taking to Twitter to vent his frustration.
So what do we know about this unexpected Predator movie? Well, it definitely won’t be a sequel to Shane Black’s 2018 offering, which was critically panned and a financial car crash.
Fans of the franchise are convinced that the forthcoming new Predator movie is connected to a project Trachtenberg has been currently working on called Skulls a film about a Comanche woman who goes against gender norms and traditions to become a warrior. John Davis is onboard as producer, the same man who produced The Predator in 2018.
Connected the dots yet sheeple? See the connections? It’s all about the ‘research’.
