Dungeons Dragons Reboot Has A Male Lead.
Blow the dust off your old Paladin D&D character sheet as a live-action reboot of the infamous role-playing game is now in development.
Games company Hasbro, which owns the rights to Dungeons & Dragons, along with Warner Media have been searching for some time for a male lead, but apparently, Chris Pine, (Star Trek, Wonder Woman), is now in negotiations to sign-on and the production is moving ahead.
It’s well documented that previous attempts to bring this much-loved gaming franchise to the big screen have failed in spectacular fashion, but with the inclusion of Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley attached, they of Spider-Man: Homecoming fame, the development has a received +15 Constitution boost.
Little is known about the general plot of the reboot but expect Pine to play a Fighter or possibly a Ranger and with Goldstein and Daley’s recent announcement that they’ve finished the script it’s looking increasingly likely that the movie will be released in May 2022.
