Denzel For Equalizer Remake.

Looks like Denzel Washington will be taking on the role, made famous by Edward Woodward of The Equalizer, for the big screen. Director Nicolas Winding Refn, he of Pusher trilogy and Drive fame will be taking the project on to reboot the highly popular 80s crime series and the pair have confirmed that talks regarding the project have taken place.

It’s thought the movie remake will maintain the main plot elements of the original which dealt with a former covert operations officer who has dedicated his life to helping people whose lives are in serious trouble.
