First Official NSFW Trailer For Hot Tub Time Machine 2.

Back in 2010 a low-fi comedy called Hot Tub Time Machine, starring John Cusak, Craig Robinson, Rob Corddry and Clark Duke, made a surprising financial and critical success at the box office. It told the story of four guys who climb into a malfunctioning hot tub at a ski resort and are transported back to the 80s, hilarity then ensues. Due to the success of the original a sequel was lit and now we have the first official trailer for Hot Tub Time Machine 2.

The official plot rattles along like so:

Nick (Craig Robinson) and Jacob (Clark Duke) use the time traveling hot tub to try to get back to the past after Lou (Rob Corddry) gets in trouble, but they inadvertently end up ten years in the future, which they must alter if they want to save their present-day environment.

As you’ll notice from this very NSFW red band trailer there’s a notable cast absence in the form of John Cusak, he’s been replaced by Adam Scott who won’t be taking over Cusak’s role directly but will be replacing the absent male lead.

Hot Tub Time Machine 2 is scheduled for release on Christmas Day.
