TMNT Probably Won’t Be Anything Like TMNT.

At least the man is consistent. Before we all knew any of the details surrounding Michael Bay’s reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise he promised die-hard fans that he would remain faithful to the property.

Of course most of us knew the truth and so it comes to pass that the new TMNT movie will probably bear little resemblance to it’s original origins. In a recent interview with website Screen Rant actor William Fichtner revealed that his role of Shredder starts off as a guy named Eric Sachs. Confused?

“I actually play a guy named Eric Sachs in the movie, and then he goes through a few stages in his existence…Turtles is coming together very, very cool. There is a whole interesting dynamic that happens in the world of the Turtles and all I can really say about it at this point is that it’s not like anything that I remember about the Turtles before.”
