Second Hercules Trailer Looks Terribly Familiar.

Here’s the second official trailer for Brett Ratner’s Hercules remake, starring Dwayne ‘The Rock‘ Johnson. From first impressions it looks like typical Ratner fare, cheesy, campy and OTT, but there’s something within the trailer we noticed which seems awfully familiar.

There’s a snippet of Hercules at 1.40 standing next to Ian McShane, who plays Amphiaraus, a crazy, fortune-telling seer who judging from the trailer also serves as a comedic sidekick too, where the two face a massive army. McShane, certain he’ll survive the battle states to a worried looking Hercules: ‘My times not come yet…not sure about yours.’ Which immediately reminded us of this scene from Braveheart with the unhinged Stephen of Ireland.
