The Neill Blomkamp Alien Movie You’ll Never See.

As I patiently wait to go see Neill Blomkamp’s latest movie Chappie in March the director kindly kept his fans occupied by posting up a collection of pictures to his Instagram account detailing various pieces of concept art for a secret Alien project he was working on.

Details are sketchy but this Blomkamp directed addition to the Alien franchise would have see the return of Ripley and Michael Biehn’s character Corporal Hicks, who appears to be badly disfigured. There’s also the ship from Ridley Scott’s orignal movie and some sort of Alien based exo-suit which Ripley appears to be wearing.

As a self-confessed Blomkamp fan I can only imagine just how good this movie could have been as it appears the project has since been dropped. On his Instagram, Blomkamp said, “Was working on this. Don’t think I am anymore. Love it though.”

Such a shame this could have been great, especially with Biehn’s return.
