Kevin Smith’s He-Man Sequel Series Gets A Voice Cast.
In-between writing dick jokes and plotting out hilarious bestiality scenes for his new View Askew movies writer/director Kevin Smith has also been toiling away on a new He-Man animated series for Netflix.
Apparently, Smith’s series will pick up exactly where Masters Of The Universe left off back in 1985. The original series ran for two years over a staggering 131 epsiodes. The plot for Smith’s new series Masters Of The Universe: Revelation rattles along like so:
“A radical return to Eternia, Revelation is a direct sequel series to the classic era of Masters of the Universe. Featuring fan favorites He-Man, Orko, Cringer and Man-At-Arms, the story pits our heroic warriors and guardians of Castle Grayskull against Skeletor, Evil-Lyn, Beastman and the vile legions of Snake Mountain!
But after a ferocious final battle forever fractures Eternia, it’s up to Teela to solve the mystery of the missing Sword of Power in a race against time to prevent the end of the Universe! Her journey will uncover the secrets of Grayskull at last. This is the epic He-Man and the Masters of the Universe saga fans have waited 35 yeas to see!”
And if those details weren’t enough Netflix published the voice cast list for the series which sent fans into a meltdown.
Personally I’m just delighted Henry Rollins is back.
